The 8-1/2" SL wiper is a specialized scraper seal designed for the larger guide tubes on Rotary SmartLift (SL) series in-ground cassette lifts, typically found on 10,000 lb and 12,000 lb capacity models. This wiper sits at the mouth of the guide tube and acts as the first line of defense against shop floor contaminants, moisture, and debris. As the lift retracts, the wiper clears the surface of the plunger to prevent abrasive particles from entering the internal bearing and seal areas. A compromised wiper is the leading cause of premature internal seal failure and cylinder scoring. SVI International's replacement wiper is built to exceed OEM standards, providing a superior seal and longer life in demanding automotive service environments.
