This front cylinder casing is a fiberglass-protected outer shell designed specifically for Weaver heavy-duty in-ground lifts. In many instances, the internal plunger and gland of a lift remain in good condition, but the outer steel casing (the "bottle") has rusted through due to prolonged exposure to groundwater and soil chemicals. Instead of replacing the entire expensive cylinder assembly, SVI International offers this casing as a targeted solution. The fiberglass coating (FFG) provides an impervious barrier against external corrosion, effectively preventing future leaks and structural failure.
