Not all in-ground lifts use wide spacing, and the BH-9616-C is engineered to serve Weaver lifts with a 40-inch equalizer configuration. This assembly is the heart of the leveling system, using a rack-and-pinion mechanism to tie the two hydraulic cylinders together mechanically. When one plunger attempts to move faster than the other, the equalizer racks and gears provide the necessary counter-force to keep the lift carriage level. After years of exposure to underground moisture and hydraulic oil, original equalizer parts can fail due to corrosion and tooth wear. This SVI International assembly includes new square racks and is built to original specifications to ensure a perfect fit in your existing 40" equalizer box.
