The BH-7518-26 U-cup seal is a high-performance dynamic seal designed to prevent fluid leakage along reciprocating rods or plungers in Rotary lift pumps. This seal features a unique U-shaped profile that uses hydraulic pressure to flare the seal lips against the housing, creating an increasingly tighter seal as pressure rises. This design is particularly effective at preventing both high-pressure leaks during lifting and low-pressure \"weeping\" when the lift is idle. Made from premium polyurethane or nitrile rubber, it offers excellent resistance to abrasion and chemical breakdown from hydraulic oil. Replacing a worn U-cup is the most common fix for pumps that are leaking oil externally or failing to hold pressure.
