The SVI BH-7501-26 is a precision-molded lock latch cable sheave used in Rotary automotive lift columns. This sheave acts as a critical guide for the lock release safety cable, ensuring it moves smoothly and stays properly aligned as it transitions from the overhead bridge into the vertical column. Without a functioning sheave, the safety cable can rub against metal edges, leading to rapid fraying and eventual cable failure. Located approximately halfway up the column, these sheaves are essential for maintaining the effortless operation of the safety lock release system. Replacing worn or cracked plastic sheaves prevents the annoying "sticky" lock release sensation common in older lifts.
